I have been asked how I feel about gender, how do I view it today?
Gender is of value and it is important that people get to experience what it is and what it means for themselves in their life and the roll that it plays, and not that it is an accident but its a signifcant story telling piece of their human experience, whether they want to express themselves differently or not, it think that’s a burden that society puts on folks in making them feel like they are wrong, that it is their physical existence when it isn’t that. The issue is the permissions to have self expression, as one chooses the one that allows the person to engage in life in how they choose regardless of societal expectations
IF you can remove societal expectations and allow people just to exist, gender, as a construct wouldn’t have such a negative impact as it is percieved now. But there are those who suffer from body dysmorphia and they are a minority, it isn’t a trend and shouldn’t be treated like a trend
